Field Trip

Today we went to the Houston Arboretum with our Co-op group. It was our first visit and I loved it! It is like a forest right in the middle of the city. We went on a nature scavenger hunt then a picnic in the park. The kids got cards with nature things on them like a spider and web. A squirrel etc.

New friends. I call him names from bubba, bub, buddy, bud...M decided to call him Bud. It was pretty cute. Then I told her that sometimes I call him Little love and she got a kick out of that and called him little love while they chased each other in a circle.

Poem

We have a new poem every few weeks that we memorize. Today I wrote the poem WORK on the board. We read it then later in the day I hear a giggle coming from the school area. I go to check it out and He had changed letters in words to make new words. I said what is so funny and he said "look! Doo doo."
